Stereochemistry of 1,3-prineary secondary diols
Written by sctunisie no commentsIR and NMR studies have been performed on 1,3 primary secondary diols. It has been shown that these compounds are in chelated forms. NMR studies are also performed on dioxanes having Me, Et, iPr or tBu substituents on position 4 and Me on position 5. They lead to chemical shifts in accordance with these obtained by empirical calculation.
