The structural study of KMn6(As2O7)2(As3O10) compound shows that the material has a three dimensional framework. There are tunnels running along [100] direction where K+ cations are located. Complementary infrared (I.R) and complex impedance (C.I) spectroscopies studies were carried out. Analysis by scanner electronic microscope (S.E.M) was done for the state.

The title compound, 2-amino-5-chloropyridin β-octamolybdate(VI), (C5H6ClN2)4[Mo8O26], was produced by hydrothermal reaction of an acidified aqueous solution of NH4Mo7O24.4H2O and 2-amino-5-chloropyridin (hereafter L). This new material has been characterized by M.E.B. and I.R. absorption spectroscopy. Its structure is determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. It crystallizes in triclinic system with P-1 space group. The parameters are: a = 9.719(3) Å; b = 10.744(5) Å; c = 12.235(7) Å; α = 92.47(4)°; β = 102.14(4)°; γ = 116.57(4)° and Z = 1. The structure is characterized by β-[Mo8O26]4- polyanions that consist of eight MoO6 edge-sharing octahedra. The Mo-Mo distances are in range 3.301(2) - 4.163(2) Å while the four types of Mo-O bond lengths are in range 1.694(5) – 2.444(4) Å. An extensive hydrogen-bonding network N-H…O stabilizes the crystal structure.

The effect of the diluent on the acido-basic behavior of the di(2-ethylhexyl) phosphorique acid (D2EHPA) in a system with two phases was studied by pH-metry. The values of pKA were calculated and follow the ascending order, according to: 1-octanol < methyl isobuthyl ketone < cyclohexane < toluene < dichloromethane ~ chloroform. The variation of the nature of diluent on the extraction of copper(II) in sulphate medium by di(2-ethylhexyl) phosphoric acid made it possible to establish the following order of extraction: 1-octanol > cyclohexane > methyl isobuthyl ketone > dichloromethane > chloroform ~ toluene.
