Caractérisation des composés organiques volatils et des résidus de dégradation thermique d’un tensioactif anionique organophosphoré
Written by sctunisie no commentsThe aim of this work was to characterize a commercial anionic surfactant as well as volatile organic compounds (VOC) which are evolved during its thermal degradation. Residues collected at different degradation temperatures were also studied. This surfactant is used in association with others in leaching preparations and resulting solutions are incinerated before being rejected. We showed by means of different analytical techniques that this commercial surfactant consists of a mixture of ethylene glycol, mono-(ethyl-2-hexyl) sodium phosphate and di-(ethyl-2-hexyl) sodium phosphate. Principal voc formed formed during degradation were identified with a coupling system TG-GC-IR-MS. The results allowed us to propose degradation mechanisms for this surfactant. In addition, 1H, 13C and 31P NMR characterizations of residues obtained under oxidizing conditions showed the formation of new phosphated structures during degradation process.
