Tunisia Chemistry Conference
TCC 2022
18-21 December 2022, Rosa Beach Hotel, Skanes-Monastir, Tunisia
Welcome
The Tunisian Chemical Society is very pleased to welcome you to the 21st Tunisia Chemistry Conference — TCC 2022 which will be held from 18 to 21 December  2022 in Tunisia at the Rosa Beach Hotel, Skanes-Monastir. Organized every two years, this event, initially scheduled for December 2020, had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and for safety reasons.
We remind new participants and members of the SCT that the purpose of organizing such scientifically events is to allow young researchers to get in touch with highly ranked chemists who have come especially to present new methods, up-to-date technologies and discuss the results of their work. Teachers, researchers and industrials will be able to share knowledge with each other, build bridges with the heads of national and foreign laboratories, broaden their knowledge in the vast field of chemistry and keep abreast of the latest developments in their respective fields.
So much awaited by the community of the chemists as well Tunisian as foreigners, Tunisia Chemistry Conference distinguishes itself from the other events organized by the TCS because it closes by the election of the new National Bureau for the incoming two years.
For those who have never been to Tunisia, be sure that this visit will make you want to come back. It is a charming country with a rich history of 30 centuries, heritage of Capsian, Phoenician, Roman, Christian, Berber and Islamic civilizations. TCC 2022 will be held in one of the most beautiful coastal regions of Tunisia, the region of Skanes-Monastir.
We look forward to meeting you at TCC2022, in Skanès Monastir

Accommodation & Venue
The conference will be held at Rosa Beach Hotel, located in the east of Tunisia, between Sousse and Monastir and directly on the shore of the blue sea on a beautiful white sand beach, considered the most beautiful of the whole region of the Sahel. Welcoming participants, distribution of documents and check in will start on Sunday 18 December 2022 from 14.00  to 17.00 (for latecomers on Monday 19 December 2022 after first lecture). Check out will be on Wednesday 21 December 2022 after lunch.

Monastir in a few words
Located on a magnificent beach a few minutes from Monastir International Airport, the Rosa Beach Hotel is truly one of the most beautiful hotels in the region. Strategically placed between the city of Monastir, known for its Ribat and its medina, and the city of Sousse renowned for its nightlife and cultural attractions, the Rosa Beach Hotel offers its clientele, in addition to the pleasures of the beach and the sea, a rare and refined atmosphere.
Far from the capital Tunis about 160 km south, Monastir is mainly a beautiful seaside resort with vast stretches of sand and rocks where it is good to walk along the seafront. But Monastir is also a city steeped in history, which was occupied in turn by the Phenicians, then the Romans, the Byzantines, the Arabs, the Spaniards and the Ottoman Turks.
From these successive invasions, the city has retained some stigmata such as the Ribat designed in 796 to defend against attacks from the Byzantine fleet, and whose citadel is a fortress made from a superposition of fortified buildings, where the most unexpected architectural volumes are intermingled.
During his trip to Monastir, the walker can also decide to get lost in the medina where the ramparts present beautiful old doors like Bab el Gharbi, Bab Tunis and Bab Brichka, which are the most famous.
The entire Sahel region, between the coast and the interior, gives a large part to the treasures of Tunisian heritage through its history. It includes remarkable archaeological sites such as Lamta or El Jem and its famous coliseum which hosts an international classical music festival in summer.
Monastir is served by an international airport and connected to the surrounding area, especially to the nearby city of Sousse, by many means of communication: buses, rental cars, cabs and especially the metro. The city has a beautiful marina where the yachtsman finds all the conveniences.
