Abstracts

Participants wishing to present either oral communications or posters (only one presentation per registered participant) are invited to submit a one page abstract according to the instructions below.
- Abstracts in MSWord format, must be sent with registration form
- Abstracts longer than one page or received by fax will not be accepted.
- Authors should indicate in the accompanying e-mail to which topic (A-G) their papers could be assigned.
- Notification of acceptance will be e-mailed to the presenting author by September, 15th 2009.

Abstract Format

- The abstract must be on a single page, ready for direct reproduction on A4 format.
- Margins: 30mm left, 25 mm right, 30 mm top and 25 mm bottom. This corresponds to a typing area of 247 x 155 mm.
- The font must be Times New Roman.
- Title and text must be single spaced.
- Title: centered, bold, 14 point capital letters.
- Authors: centered, 12 point font, presenting author underlined
- Different affiliation: centered, italic, 12 point, specified with superscripts a, b, etc.
- Main text: 12 point, justified.
- Figures: good quality, located within the text.

Instructions for poster presentations

Posters should be 1.20 m high and 0.90 m wide. Abstracts of posters will be numbered and listed in the final program. Different sessions will be held for poster presentations. Authors are requested to be in front of their posters during the official poster sessions.

During poster presentation sessions, there will be an exhibition area for technical books, softwares, and chemical equipments. Further information may be requested by e-mail from the organizing Committee.

Booklet of abstracts

A booklet containing the abstracts of all lectures and posters will be distributed free of charge to all registered participants, except the accompanying persons.
